The Restaurant is a destination breakfast, lunch and coffee spot located just off High Street in Northcote. We pride ourselves on using the finest in local and seasonal produce to develop quality products. Our pursuit of providing our customers with the best dining and warm and homely cafe experience is relentless and underpinned by the quality of our coffee and food and customer service mindset. There is now an opportunity for an individual who loves food and will love our kitchen. The successful candidate will report to the Head Chef and perform the role of a breakfast/lunch chef. The candidate will cover the duties of the Head Chef in their absence, ensuring the maintenance of standards, completion of set tasks and seamless functioning of the kitchen. The candidate will need to be a qualified chef with some experience in a cafe or restaurant of good standing. A strong interest in and knowledge of Melbourne's food/cafe scene will be an advantage. Generous pay package, as well as training and development opportunities available for the successful candidate.
