Position: Automotive Mechanic / Technician Salary 60K to 73K plus superannuation and workcare Overtime standards paid Full- time: 5 days Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30 Immerse yourself in our inclusive, diverse and supportive culture Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of a passionate and supportive team, where you can grow your career with hugely diverse workshop where we carry out works from servicing and major mechanical repairs as well as restoration, vehicle painting and upholstery. With a fixed working week Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30 we try to help you achieve a work-life balance. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced, driven and trade qualified Mechanic to join the team. Responsibilities: On a day to day basis you will be responsible for: General servicing and maintenance of vehicles Identifying and repairing technical issues Identifying additional work as required Correctly completing all work as per Manufacturer Repair Times Guide and automotive retail standards, including: diagnosing vehicle and engine faults dismantling and repairing motor vehicle parts reassembling and testing mechanical parts Road testing vehicles Completing quality and timely work to meet Customer needs as per clients requirements Conducting quality checks on all work Grow your skills to include aftermarket installations, paint and panel, upholstery and modifications. Requirements: Who are we looking for? We are searching for someone who: Has a current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate Has a current driver's license Has the ability to work in a busy service centre At least 4 years’ experience as a qualified mechanic Ability to understand vehicle electronic systems and diagnostics Is passionate about the brand Is reliable and have a good work ethic Has an excellent eye for detail Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Has excellent organisational skills
