The company is seeking a highly motivated Financial Services Trainee to join their Financial Services team. As a Financial Service Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn hands on experience form experts in their field. You will learn daily project functions such as: Payroll activities Timesheeting Good Receipting Requisitioning Procurement Accountabilities include: Monitoring the financial position of construction, maintenance and external civil works projects and provide early warnings to the project manager of any deviations beyond predetermined limits. Provide advice on project costing, industrial awards and financial matters and liaise with local departmental staff regarding problems, procedures and policies. Provide administration and project costing support (including the requisitioning of goods and services and monitoring their supply in accordance with the State Purchasing Policy Liaise with internal and external clients to obtain quotes and or prices for estimating or tendering purposes Prepare and process employee timesheets as required Utilise various computer programs, including Excel spreadsheets, word documents and costing programs Successful applicant must also hold a white card, or willing to obtain before commencing. Location: Rockhampton Work Type Full Time Traineeship (Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4.00pm) Requirements Must be an Australian citizen / resident Genuine interest in this career pathway A positive quick learning attitude Reliable and punctual Willingness to undertake studies COVID-19 Vaccination Benefits of a Traineeship Earn and learn On the job training Nationally recognised qualification: Certificate III Financial Services FNS30120 Mentoring and Support if required
