This bank is on the lookout for a driven and energetic Associate to join our Business Service Operations team.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct process improvement by analysing data, coming with solutions via continuous improvement methods and implementing these improvements into the business
Document and gather information related to business loan agreements as well as Business & Legal security and maintaining business confidentiality
Using in depth system knowledge to manage core system exception detection, reporting, resolution, and escalation for non-standard processing as relates to loan balance and transaction management and maintenance.
Mitigate operational risks around Business Lending and provide advice to strengthen set policy
Management of data updates asset transactions & arrears management
Assist with onboarding of staff members from recruitment through to training on the tasks involved in our day-to-day business services operations
Lending and account reviews and reconciliations to ensure accuracy
Liaising with Product, Finance and Customer Service teams regarding IT development and system enhancements
Maintenance of issue register with regards to system bugs, short term resolution and long-term strategy in approach to system enhancements and updates required to ensure full and accurate recording takes place.
Perform daily checks on Servicing core systems to identify exceptions and provide advice to Operations to maintain internal control systems.
Management of customer questions, concerns, and overall needs & provide the highest level of service
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance or related field
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
Advanced Excel skills (including tool design and build)
Significant experience with Fiscal, Temenos (T24), and Salesforce
Experience of working closely with the following departments within a Financial Institution: Finance, Operations, Customer Service, Relationship Bankers
Experienced in methodologies aimed to improve effectiveness and flow of end-to-end process
Experience working in a high-pressure environment
Experience with complex processing, interest calculations and reconciliations
Experience working within a legislated environment (ideally business banking or similar)
Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities
Excellent inter-personal skills
Strong attention to detail
