Marketing Co-Ordinator
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, planning and implementation across different business areas. This position focuses on retention and attracting new manufacturers and retailers to our products and services through an overall positive customer experience.
The position is committed to communications and works in strong collaboration with other members of the current external marketing team, as well as the sales, administration and production teams to implement and deliver a variety of important strategic initiatives across the entire business.
Primary Duties:
• Working closely with the CEO and Sales Managers to build, manage and deliver the Defab marketing and communications plan
• Contribute to the development, distribution and execution of marketing materials and channels including collaborative web design and sampling.
• Contribute and manage development of continual improvement of the marketing communication plan
• Coordinate the management of print, sampling, and web for product launches and Expos.
• Coordinate the design of marketing material and promotional literature for all Defab initiatives throughe xternal Marketing Partnerships
• Assist with the management of relationships with key industry partners (e.g. BMAA, STA, universities etc.…) and implement promotional initiative’s through their networks to maximise awareness of Defab’s products and services.
• Assist with the development, introduction and implementation of a Defab CRM system to enhance the supply and service experience for customers and as well as improving the customer retention process.
• Use various research materials (Trade magazines, Website searches, Lead Generation database) to identify potential customers and in consultation with Sales Team determine contact strategy to attract these customers to Defab
• Monitor the lapsed and new contacts and report on success rate
• Attend network and promotional events to develop and maintain contact with both existing and potential customers
• Use various PC software packages, including spreadsheets, word processing and graphics to produce high quality reports, tables, graphs, presentations and other documents
