The type of person we seek: For this position we need someone with at least 5 years of consulting experience of designing and delivering Microsoft infrastructure projects: • Azure • O365 • Microsoft - Active Directory / Group Policy / Windows Server • Automation using PowerShell, JavaScript etc • Technical presales This role involves working closely with our customers, thus the right candidate will need to be: • Highly technical • Well organised • A great communicator, written and verbal
Your key responsibilities include: • Working independently or as part of a team to design and deliver infrastructure projects. • Building strong relationships with our great customers • Expert level consultancy to Idea 11’s customers to include: Gathering, interpreting and analysing customer requirements in relation to IT cloud solutions Designing complex IT cloud solutions across compute, network, storage and security Assessing and recommending improvements to IT cloud solutions across compute, network, storage and security Implementing, integrating and upgrading IT cloud solutions across compute, network, storage and security Supporting, monitoring and troubleshooting IT cloud solutions across compute, network, storage and security Analysing performance and performing capacity management Automating builds and solutions using IaaC and scripting languages Documenting proposed and delivered solutions (designs, as-builts, deployment guides, procedures, runbooks and support documentation etc) • Escalation point for technical issues • Mentor and provide guidance to other members of the Consultancy Team • Actively build and develop customer relationships • To protect Idea 11’s customer environments by ensuring correct practices are followed and work is executed to the expected standards
