Your role might vary based on the team you’ll be in but as a Senior Data Engineer you can expect to work on:
Leading teams on small projects with technical direction from technical stakeholders
Working independently on projects with direction from technical and/or non-technical stakeholders
Building and deploying data lakes and data warehouses on chosen cloud platform.
Consulting with our clients and working with them to build modern data systems using the ‘best of’ technologies and principles.
Developing complex code-based ETL/ELT data pipelines with performance optimised data modelling.
BigData processing - handling PII, data formatting & wrangling, data preparation.
Applying best practices in coding, monitoring and alerting, using CI/CD, TDD and cloud architectures.
Solving complex data engineering issues to help our clients advance their data and analytics solutions.
Representing your brand within the Data community.
Participating in events to raise awareness of Mantel Group’s Data capability and building relationships with new clients and prospects.
Helping to train, coach and mentor others within the team through on-the-job teaching, tutorials, hands-on training, presentations and other similar activities.
