What you’ll be doing:
As a member of our Cloud Engineering and Application Modernisation team, you’ll be responsible for designing and deploying client environments through code, developing build pipelines, embedding security in everything you do and implementing best practices on AWS.
You’ll bring your extensive cloud and application modernisation consulting experience, along with a development background, to a company where we strive to make a difference to our clients, whilst at the same time providing a great modern workplace for you to thrive.
The types of projects include:
Building CI/CD pipelines using automation
Creating AWS foundations according to Best Practice
Implementing cost-effective auto-scaling environments
Working with other consultants to solve complex cloud architecture problems
What tech you’ll need to know:
AWS certifications in Solution Architecture, DevOps and related domains
Scripting - using Bash, PowerShell and/or Python
Infrastructure-as-code including CloudFormation, CDK and/or Terraform
Code Management System - GitHub, BitBucket or Gitlab
Cloud and virtualisation scripting – AWS CLI and/or SDK
VPCs, Security Groups and NACLs
Automation and Configuration Management platforms such Ansible and Puppet
Docker and/or other containerisation technologies
CI/CD practices and tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines or Gitlab runners
