Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

Required residence status: Temporary visa

This role will work along side our project and construction managers to learn and assist in all aspects of project planning, execution and delivery. Examples of the tasks that may be required include: Assist in all aspects of project delivery from tender through to practical completion, as directed by the project manager Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings to estimate quantities Completing project procurement activities such as estimating and ordering materials, assisting in evaluating subcontractor quotes Assisting in completing project site inspections to review safety and quality of work Completing project management documentation such as permit applications, project management plans and traffic management plans Provide general on-site assistance to the construction team Essential requirements for the role. Tertiary qualification in construction/civil engineering (bachelor of civil engineering and masters in construction management) Minimum 6mths on site experience Demonstrated understanding of basic of project management principles Demonstrated use of Topcon Positioning systems Basic skills in planning and organising work activities Strong and clear communication skills with proven ability to engage others Advanced problem solving skills, with a focus on innovation and initiative Effective organisational and time management skills – proven ability to work to and meet tight deadlines Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft office skills – MS Word, Excel essential Basic understanding and skills using Appsheet A love for regional Victoria and commitment to live in Shepparton or surrounds Valid Australian drivers license and authority to work full-time in Australia COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
