Local leading manufacturer & importer of schoolwear in Sydney, is looking for a qualified and experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer to assist with operations. Tasks: • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks • Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN, DNS, etc. • Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation • Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security • Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting • Arranging scheduled upgrades • Investigating faults in the network • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases • Reporting network status to key stakeholders • Create network documentation Salary: $75,000 p/a plus super Requirements: • Australian citizens and permanent residents encouraged to apply • Bachelor degree or higher qualifications • Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on network engineering experience; • Fluent English; • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools; • Excellent communication skills; • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude; • Attention to detail.
