Job requirements

Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

What the role entails: Supporting the delivery of Council’s horticultural works program Assisting with the maintenance of Council’s parks, gardens, cemeteries and open spaces Tree trimming within parks, reserves and roadsides Irrigation repairs and maintenance Weed spraying of footpaths and roadside areas What we are looking for: An experienced horticulturist (minimum 12 months) with an MR Licence or a similar role A Certificate III in Horticulture or similar with experience working with earthmoving and associated plant and equipment being of advantage Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic Ability to work in a team environment that promotes continuous improvement and comradery with a strong focus n achieving community expectations
