Purpose of the role
As a Delivery Manager, you will be driving the successful delivery of large and complex data programs of work in a variety of projects and industries. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and enable Aginic’s project teams to deliver value. You will have experience working across multiple projects and can align ways of working across organisations, including balancing the demands of different stakeholders.
We’re expecting a strong level of familiarity with Agile practices and an ability to understand the intent behind Agile methods and focus on making sure Aginic teams are delivering value for our clients. Above all, you are comfortable facilitating group conversations and interested in exploring new techniques to help improve team collaboration.
You will be joining our Agile Delivery Chapter and you’ll be supported by some of the most experienced Agile coaches in Australia to help continue your development.
Requirements
Consulting experience, either with external clients or internally within an organisation with an ability to engage with senior stakeholders and shape high level ideas into well-defined initiatives
Demonstrated experience with Agile practices as well as the ability to understand the intent behind Agile methods and focus on making sure we’re delivering great outcomes for clients
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex IT implementation projects, especially BI-related projects
Ability to facilitate group conversations and an interest in exploring new techniques to help improve team collaboration
Demonstrated experience of intervention in difficult projects to drive successful outcomes
Able to empathise with clients and connect with their ‘Why’ to help guide the team towards solving problems that matter
Collaborative approach to working; you prefer working in a team than on your own
Familiarity with BI and data analytics projects and the patterns of development used in these areas would be highly regarded
Experience coaching, mentoring & training teams in delivery practices
