Key responsibilities include: • Provide regular internal stakeholder updates • Maintain up to date documentation • Ensure operational efficiency, reliability and security of the cloud Platform • Become a DevOps advocate to our clients and help realise efficiency benefits for Sandstone • Conduct analysis and review of identified technology processes and provide recommendations for improvement • Provide operations support for hosted products as part of the Cloud services offering • Drive operational efficiencies through automation of repetitive tasks • Available for 24/7 on-call roster on rotation.
About You: • 3 - 5years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering or Software Development roles • Experience in production critical environments • Proven experience in a number of these technologies: Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Packer, Git • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and BASH • Considerable experience working with AWS. Experience with other cloud technologies can be considered (E.g., Azure or GCP) • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts • Good understanding of security best practices • Good understanding of CI/CD processes
