Responsibilities 1. Work safely, and with regard to the safety of others, including: a. Compliance with all WHS policies and procedures, and b. Actively work to improve safety in the workplace 2. Install and integrate GroundProbe’s products as required for Customers; 3. Commission and decommission GroundProbe’s products; 4. Organise and perform external demonstrations on GroundProbe’s products; 5. Follow up on demonstrations to ensure successful outcome for Customers and GroundProbe; 6. Train technical specialist team on deployment, operation and maintenance of GroundProbe’s products; 7. Manage few customer accounts with technical and operational aspect and build strong relationship with customer 8. Monitor and present GroundProbe’s products data; 9. Provide on-site training and technical support to Customers; 10. Maintain GroundProbe’s products minimising downtime and meeting Customer needs; 11. Perform technical support work on GroundProbe technologies at remote sites and from GroundProbe’s office; 12. Assist with marketing and development of a positive image of GroundProbe, its technologies and its employees.
Qualifications • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic discipline(s); • Extensive relevant technical work experience in a customer service based organisation; • Experience in electronics, radar, telecommunications or a related field; • Experience, proven potential, or a track record of success in a comparable role, doing comparable work. • Ability to train individuals and small groups; • Mechanical knowledge is desirable. • Mining environment/remote location experience is desirable; • Computer literacy especially in MS Office; • Unencumbered Manual Drivers Licence; • Ability to obtain national police clearance certificate for work at mine sites; • Ability to pass ongoing Pre-employment medical assessments including drug and alcohol tests for site access.
