$80k package Career progression on offer Grow your career with an easily recognisable business About the business / role Come join a global food manufacturing business that is based in Shepparton where you will be responsible in supporting the Management Accountant and Finance Team prepare, process and report manufacturing variances, cost records and reports and act as a key finance support across the site. The role is looking for someone with an excellent attitude that wants to grow within the business. With an excellent manager who values growth and his team, a succession plan is in place to develop your career. You will also have strong input in business decisions and be accountable for those decisions. Key responsibilities Prepare and consolidate daily manufacturing variances; Perform SAP functions to formally close out manufacturing process orders; Prepare weekly yields and production volume results; Prepare weekly labour analysis for all manufacturing lines; Liaise with Manufacture to quantify and understand the cost of manufacturing issues; Communicate financial and production results to manufacturing managers as part of the finance weekly call meeting; Support in the preparation of monthly management reports including Profit and Loss statements; Confer with appropriate staff to gather information on financial accounting (e.g. expenditure accruals); Complete entries to ensure the GL accurate and up to date; Prepare GL account reconciliations; Assist in preparation of new or proposed product costings; Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual AOP budgets; Assist with SAP functions for Capital projects; Assist in costing of NPD products; Prepare Supplier claims; and Ad hoc duties as required. Skills and experience An excellent attitude and a desire to learn and grow; Intermediate excel skills; Finance background; Bachelor's Degree; Understanding of accounting principles; and SAP experience.
