Educational requirements: Bachelor

About the role - Ability to maintain, organise and keep clean a tidy workplace. - Ability to understand what appropriate measures are needed carefully handle all goods safely. - Ability to accurately complete paperwork and stock count items. - Organising transfers, loading and unloading delivery vehicles with a forklift or by manual handling including destuffing shipping containers. - Picking orders (including e-Commerce fulfillment) from the storage space and organising them ready for packing or to the dispatch area for transportation. - Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse. - To source and get feedback from freight companies on the most cost-effective quotes. Qualifications & experience - Exceptional organisational and time management skills. - Able to multi-task and prioritise. - Basic computer skills. - Excellent understanding of customer deliverables and the impact on the failure/cost of performing tasks & responsibilities poorly. - Keeping an accurate record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly. Reporting to supervisor any discrepancies. - Logging in records of dispatching/receiving goods correctly. - Arranging goods to the appropriate storage space and optimising space utilisation. - Performing deliveries around Victoria. - Able to work independently and respectfully around other team members as part of a team including communicating well with team members. - Ability to lift heavy objects. - Excellent numeracy and written/verbal communication skills. - Ability to approach/report to management comfortably on any issues which may arise. - With heavy equipment and handling oversize goods warehouses can be a dangerous place, so following workplace health and safety guidelines and signage will be essential. Additional Information - Any direct or indirect acts of behaviour abusive, coercive, discrimination, abusive language, swearing which causes emotional harm is not tolerated. - Employees will be required to undergo a police background check.
