Job requirements

Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Proficient English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Applicants must have: • The ability to develop a positive relationship with a young person or adult participant • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and often challenging situation • A reasonable level of fitness • Own car and smart phone • Current unrestricted Queensland Driver Licence • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, Police Check, Blue Card(working with children safe check), Yellow Card (disability worker screening clearance) and First Aid Certificate with CPR – if you don’t have these yet, we can provide direction for you to obtain them Role Responsibility: Reporting to the Manager or Service Delivery Officer, you will be required to support participants to reach their individual goals through meaningful and fun activities in their home and out in the community. If a shift involves you to work in one of our residences, you will be required to undertake household duties that may include cooking, laundry and light cleaning.
