We are a progressive, family owned and operated transport business. With depots in Cobram, Mooroopna, Melbourne. We are seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking Accounts Payable Officer to work within our Finance team on day-to-day administrative and reporting tasks. This is a maternity leave position for 12 months with possibility to transition into permanent employment. Key functions of this role will be: All aspects of the AP function, entering invoices, generating payments and reconciling suppliers Subcontractor and general account queries and allocations Liaise with internal team members to ensure all key tasks are complete in a timely manner Assisting accounts receivable Assisting with month end close off Assisting with all areas of the administration department The following are essential requirements for the successful applicant: A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and IT programs in general Use of initiative, a positive can do attitude and attention to detail required Be self-motivated, keen and willing to work in a team environment Clear communication skills
