Job requirements

Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Responsibilities: • Review RFT, RFP, and RFQ documentation to determine requirements in the planning of tenders. • Develop lists of required pricing components and identify associated subcontractors and suppliers. • Preparation of project take-offs • Cost estimating (using Cost X) and preparation of all related tender schedules • Development of tender programs • Develop construction methodologies • Submission of detailed bids • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other key stakeholders • Provide detailed handovers to the delivery project teams Skills and Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years’ experience • Experience in Building and Construction of elemental estimates • Degree qualifications in Quantity Surveying or similar • Proficient computing skills including MS Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Cost X (preferred) • High level of interpersonal skills including a good phone manner and positive relationships with a network of South Australian Suppliers and Subcontractors. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects
