About the role
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Accounts Officer to join our busy team. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for an array of tasks within the Finance team, which will also include some Administrative support duties.
Responsibilities include:
Data entry and reporting using the MYOB system.
General bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
Following up on arrears.
Generation of accounting reports and manipulation of data in Excel.
Preparing monthly customer statements.
Collating and reconciling monthly supplier statements.
Credit card reconciliations.
Following up on receipts and tax invoices from the internal team.
Customer invoicing.
Assisting with month-end processes.
Payroll.
Provide general administrative support to the team including answering the phone, supporting with meeting scheduling, diary management, travel, expense claims, and office supplies as required.
General duties such as filing, printing, mail, document formatting, etc.

You will also need the following experience and skills to be successful:
Experience with MYOB accounting software.
Previous experience in an administrative and or accounts role with sound customer service skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical differences.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a small team.
Demonstrated Intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel skills.
Driver’s license.
Tertiary qualifications or studies in business/accounting are desirable.
