About the role
based in offices in Phillip, ACT, as the newly appointed Accountant, you will become a core member of the team supporting the business operations, reporting to the CFO. You will provide support on all financial management, reporting, cost management and auditing requirements.

Reporting to the CFO your responsibilities will include
General ledger management and reporting, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the financial information maintained in company accounting systems.
Supervision of staff assisting in accounts related activities who are responsible for bookkeeping and administrative duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, bank payments, payroll and others
Preparing financial management reporting for internal stakeholders
Involvement in preparation of company financial budgets
Preparation of regular financial reports, with a focus on accuracy and their compliance with statutory requirements
Examining and reporting on operating costs, income and expenditure
Variance analysis and associated analytical efforts
Participate in review and upgrades of accounting systems and processes
About you
You have experience in the Accounting function within a similarly busy and complex Accounting environment ideally gained in the NDIS / Healthcare industries
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
At least 2 years professional experience since you earned your qualifications
CA or CPA or progress towards same
A well organised working style – able to cheerfully meet demanding work requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication style
Working rights – you can work fulltime in Australia without any restriction
