What you’ll do
Service the Bank’s Mortgage Broker network by fielding incoming calls relating to home lending applications post lodgement right through to post settlement support
Support the Bank’s wider Broker Partnership team including, but not limited to, Business Development Consultants (BDC’s), Business Development Managers (BDM’s) and State Leaders
The role is to provide exceptional support via inbound call queries regarding application status updates, general application queries, settlement and post settlement support.
General email/inbox support also required where needed.
Advanced customer service skills, ensuring first call resolution is of priority
Advanced communication skills (both verbal and written) for when communicating with Brokers via phone and email replies
Timely actioning and completion of tasks to meet advertised service level agreements
Completion of regulatory and company compliance through computer-based training courses being completed on time

What you’ll bring
Have demonstrated experience in Banking and/or Home Lending (desired)Understanding of the Australian Financial Industry (desired)
Experience in Contact Centre or Retail (customer facing) highly desirable
Exceptional communications skills with the ability to work within a high performing team environment
Knowledge of banking systems, products, policy & procedures.
Ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships – specifically in dealing with Brokers over the phone and via email
The ability to be agile and flexible when required to take on additional tasks
Hours of work
The successful candidate will be required to work on a rotational Monday to Friday roster across the following hours:
Daylight savings
8am to 4pm
8.30am to 4.30pm
Non-Daylight Savings
8.30am to 4.30pm
9.00am to 5.00pm
