Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Business Advisory division in a full-time capacity.
Our team has extensive experience covering a range of different industries, working closely with some of South Australia's iconic businesses.
The team specialises in:
Preparation of management and statutory accounts
Preparation and lodgement of tax returns
Tax planning
Specialist tax advice
Business activity statements

Key Responsibilities
Ensure completion of statutory compliance work, which may include:
Prepare private tax returns, trust, partnership tax returns and End of Year compliance work
Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger Maintenance and Bookkeeping
Balance sheet reconciliations
Accounts Payable/Receivable management
Monthly reconciliations for debtor/creditor accounts.
Training of junior staff
Provide advice to clients on issues concerning indirect taxes, including:
Goods and Services Tax
Fringe Benefits Tax
Payroll Tax
Stamp Duties
About You
To be successful you will:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
Hold or be studying toward a Chartered Accountant qualification.
Hold a current certification in a cashbook program (i.e. Xero or QBO)
Have 2 years accounting experience in a similar position
Have experience using APS (desirable)
Display a high-level of professionalism, enthusiasm and conscientiousness
Be a team player and able to form relationships easily with team members
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be passionate about helping clients
Be an active contributor in meetings, BD efforts and staff training
