We are seeking a qualified and experienced accountant to work in a dynamic team to provide value-added professional services to the Group.
Your duties include but not limited to:
Preparing end of month accounting reports including cashflow statements and journals, ad hoc reports, balance sheet, and management reporting
Assisting Chief Finance Officer in preparing financial reports (balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statements), and reporting on profitability and overall financial health to the management and board of directors.
Preparing the GST reconciliation report, business activity work sheet and payroll activity summary report to tax agent to lodge the Business Activity Statements and taxation returns quarterly
Assisting in preparing monthly investment reports for franchisees, including reviewing account balances and activities, calculating the fluctuant COGS of each month, and communicating with operation managers and other related staff to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information
Reviewing financial information, examining operating costs and organisations’ income and expenditure, and maintaining cost management
Preparing annual working capital forecasting
Preparing the annual budgets by planning operating budget, capital expenditure budget and cash budget and reviewing the budget on a monthly basis
Liaising with ATO and external advisors to assist with preparation and submission of taxation requirements
Liaising with auditors, tax advisors and financiers regarding financial and accounting matters
Assisting in formulating accounting policies and maintain internal control systems and online-based accounting systems
Required Experience, Skills and Qualification:
At least 3 years’ experience as an accountant
Bachelor’s degree or above with sufficient subjects in accounting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to details
Ability to multi-task and juggle priorities
Ability to work in a team and work independently
Leadership skills to supervise accounting clerks
Strong initiative and a can-do attitude
Speaking another language is an advantage
