The Role We are looking for a passionate & experienced Head Chef who wants to make a name for themselves at one of the region’s top destinations. This full-time position will require the availability to work a rotating roster which includes weekends. Salary range will be $90,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation. The role will include, at a minimum: Food ordering & management Training and mentoring Rostering & wage cost management Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and presentation Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy workplace To be successful in this role, you will have: Certificate IV or higher in culinary field Previous experience as a Head Chef (5 years preferred) A constructive and positive approach to managing people Excellent leadership skills Excellent communication skills Experience in producing high quality meals for functions & events The ability to create and implement idea's to the menu as the seasons shift A genuine passion for your trade Operate with extreme attention to detail A commitment to quality, consistency, and presentation
