Join our professional team as a Catering/Food Services Supervisor and help us achieve remarkable levels of care for our patients. The successful applicant will work a hands on role as a supervisor in our busy catering department. Northern Beaches Hospital is a dedicated facility for all patients in our local area It was thoughtfully designed to optimise patient safety and overall experience, and to provide meaningful management and operational efficiencies that benefit everyone. Key to the hospital's success is a highly skilled and expert team of staff who are supported by a comprehensive range of professional development opportunities. Selection Criteria: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a large commercial kitchen Knowledge of HACCP procedure Working knowledge of WHS principles & practices, & hygiene regulations Knowledge and maintenance of Food Safety Plan Preparing for Food Authority Audit Leadership qualities Control of labour KPIs and rostering Well-developed management skills Menu Planning and food ordering Computer literate The ability to build a good rapport and customer relations with staff High standards of customer and staff satisfaction Food safety supervisor qualification would be an added advantage Available to work a seven day rotating roster, including weekends Benefits on offer: Discounted onsite parking as well as easy access to public transport Discounted gym memberships including Fitness Passport Employee Assistance Programs Salary Packaging Bulk Billing services for employees and immediate family members.
