As an expert in the content and technical side of payroll, the Senior Payroll Systems Analyst sets up the system for payroll and is responsible for periodic review, finding and resolving malfunctions and fixing problems. The Senior Payroll Systems Analyst carries out Customizing for Payroll and uses different reports to check the settings. He or she also deals with the interfaces and carries out periodical activities. New entity creations, finance GL alignments and resolving complex system issues will be part of this role.
To do this successfully you will:
Consulting with users to formulate and document business requirements
Working with payroll vendor to edit personnel calculation schemas, personnel calculation rules, and features as per business requirement.
Evaluating wage type characteristics and outputs ensuring compliance with legislation (PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workers’ comp, FBT etc.)
Working with the vendor on deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting, and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system
Processing UAT testing, upgrades and system upgrades whilst liaising with HRIT specialists
Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour.
Successful applications will have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HR/HCM
Successful track record of Australia/New Zealand payrolls with minimum 5 plus full lifecycle SAP HR and/or Payroll implementation projects.
Experience working in Global organisations, building relationships and getting things done through influence and understanding of the enterprise context.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with impeccable customer service skills, positive attitude, and display professionally mature behaviour
Salary - $104,000 inclusive of super
