About the role In this role, you will be joining a distributed team of highly capable colleagues to build and maintain our industry leading software in the federal government sector. You will make a significant technical contribution, with a strong focus on workflows for our SaaS management systems which hold government data. You will also play the lead role in inspiring your team as the company grows and scales into larger markets. To be right for this role you will be a software developer with at least 3 years of commercial experience (post-grad as a software developer or software engineer). You will have had extensive experience building software in Python / Java / Ruby on Rails or C . Your most important attribute will be your attitude and your willingness to problem solve. You'll need to have: Australian Citizenship for security purposes Qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field Proven commercial work experience in software development or software engineering Experience in developing web applications, using Python / Java / Ruby on Rails or C Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and PostgreSQL Experience in javascript and MySQL Experience in cloud environments such as MS Azure Experience with Agile software development environment Proficiency in software engineering tools It is ideal if you have: Knowledge and experience with Azure Experience in a scale-up environment Leadership experience
