Hire a retail supervisor for the bakery in Footscray Plaza to assist management with training, managing and supporting junior staff, as well as sales/customer service. This position is from 11am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and involves a paid trial with the view to a permanent role. They will be supported and guided by management to: - Work with our Barista to serve customers - Manage stock such as packaging, cleaning products and drinks - Induct and train new staff - Manage staffing issues including when staff are unable to make their shift or are running late - Address performance concerns. - Ensure all staff are up to date on new changes to processes, new products and are reading/engaging with posts on our staff fb page. - Ensure staff have the tools they need to do the job. - Constantly monitoring staff in relation to their customer service and training/encouraging them to improve. - Determine staffing needs, work with management to identify needs and be involved in recruitment. - Communicate with junior staff and identifying if they are having any difficulties or don’t understand anything. - Communicating with management about any concerns they have.
