About the role: The company is currently seeking an enthusiastic Junior Estimator to assist in the design and detailing of lightweight steel framing designs. This role will be providing support to personnel located at other sites and will involve: Reviewing residential, commercial and industrial plans Detailing and designing lightweight steel framing for Stratco's customer base Liaising with sales representatives and members of the senior management team in various locations Liaising with customers, including builders and engineers, to confirm specifications and project requirements Preparing estimates and quotations for Stratco sales team members and customers Future opportunities within an international company Skills, Experience and Attributes: Tertiary qualifications in Estimating, Building Design or a related trade qualification Experience in an estimating role (advantageous) Drafting skills and experience &/or exposure to a CAD/CAM environment (advantageous) Excellent computer and data entry skills Ability to plan, prioritise and work to project timelines Strong customer focus with an eye for detail and a sense of urgency to achieve results Highly developed interpersonal & communication skills Understanding of Australian building and construction codes, standards and techniques Excellent mathematical and conceptualisation skills
