English requirements: Vocational English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 0-1 year

Required residence status: Temporary visa

Accept remote work: Accept during COVID-19 restrictions only

The Opportunity: This role will see you working fulltime over the course of 3 years gaining hands-on, industry experience whilst studying towards a Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations. Earn while you learn with this rewarding entry level apprenticeship and see yourself through a lasting civil career. Duties Include: Site preparation and excavation Level bases and surface materials Concrete and bitumen work Lay water pipes and drainage structures Instal safety barriers and traffic management Operate plant machinery and use power tools Manual labouring Read construction blueprints About You: Thrives on working outdoors Has a can-do attitude, displaying initiative Strong track record of being punctual, reliable, and hardworking Physically fit and able to move repetitively Strong verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Role Requirements: Current drivers’ licence, provisional or c-class Must satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment Previous labouring or construction-based experience (advantageous) What’s in it for you?
