We are a packaging supplies wholesaler looking for an accounts officer to join our team. Duties and responsibilities include: Record/reconcile transactions in MYOB for accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking & payroll. Produce monthly customer statements. Attending to customer queries and incoming leads by phone / fax / email correspondence. Processing orders. Invoicing. Prepare letters and quotations. Coordinate freight bookings. General office duties (filing, photocopying etc). Monitor customer & supplier accounts and take action to ensure they are collected/paid in accordance with the company’s credit policies. Requirements: Australian Citizen / Permanent Residency. Bachelor of Accounting / Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. Strong customer service and numeracy skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English. Proficient in MYOB, Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook Above 45 words per minute typing speed and accuracy Punctual, honest and reliable Excellent attention to details with good memory skills and high level of accuracy. Current driver’s licence. Full Time Hours 7.5 hours/day - 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday Clerks - Private Sector Award 2010 [MA000002] Level 2 Casual Rate (as per Fairwork website) Year 1 – $29.59 / Hour 10% Superannuation Guarantee Year 2 – $30.14 / Hour 10% Superannuation Guarantee (Above are hourly rates for 21 years old and over. Rates varies for under 21 years old.)
