About you To be successful in this role, you will need to be a degree-qualified accountant with a level of experience (2 years) that you can call upon to help you become an efficient and effective team member. You will be comfortable and experienced in undertaking a range of accounting activities, ensuring you are delivering results on time. The absolute key to your success in this role will be your razor-sharp attention to detail and your unwavering commitment to delivering work that is error-free and accurate. During the selection process, we will be looking for candidates who have: Accounting Degree 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office, namely Word, Excel and Outlook Results Focused Have a methodical and organised approach Be highly motivated and capable of keeping up with a fast paced environment Capable of working autonomously whilst respecting the dynamics of a team Attention to detail an absolute must Effective communication skills The successful candidate will exhibit the following qualities: Proven experience in a similar role Monthly general ledger account reconciliations Assisting with month end processes Preparation and processing of journals Recording transactions and Bank reconciliation Prepare and submit AR Credit Exposure report Assist the Financial Controller/Financial Accountant in maintaining records and documentation as required Professional and persistent approach Ability to think laterally and work autonomously Strong drive and ability to meet and exceed goals
