WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for a digital marketing and social media assistant to join the team.
You will work under the direction of the Marketing Coordinator to create marketing content and operate brand social media account. This role will suit a goal driven, hard working individual, with exceptional technical and creative skills, a flexible approach and ability to adapt to varying daily duties.
Role Responsibilities:
Social media strategy – you will help design and implement general social media growth and marketing strategies. You’ll deliver engaging content across platforms like Little Red Book, WeChat, Instagram, TikTok Douyin and Facebook geared towards KPIs such as driving sales, audience growth, and engagement. You will have a shared responsibility of replying to comments, direct messages etc across all platforms.
Content planning, creating and publishing – a large component of this role will be helping the Marketing Coordinator develop a content strategy across all marketing functions including website, blog, email marketing, and marketing collateral. You'll also assist with planning and executing photo and content shoots end-to-end. That will be everything from planning a mood board, to exporting web-friendly edited assets. Create stills, gifs, reels, and videos.
Social Influencer strategy Influencer program - Sourcing collaboration opportunities with new, like-minded Influencers
Creative campaign brainstorming – you’ll always be paying attention to what's going on and what’s trending in the market, and be a creative thinker who can come up with exciting and fresh social media marketing ideas.
Providing assistance with creation, coordination and management of email marketing campaigns (EDM) to grow our email database.
General website maintenance - such as SEO, uploading blogs and images.
Desirable requirements
Tertiary qualifications or final year student in marketing, communications, design or related discipline
A natural eye for design; previous experience with photography and styling is advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail, strong skills in grammar/spelling/punctuation, and a keen understanding of the branded tone of voice. You know how to grab the attention of your audience.
Proficiency with Adobe CS and various scheduling platforms including Mailchimp, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, MS Office, Canva, ect
Experience using web design platforms such as Wordpress or WIX
Google Ads experience highly desirable
Self-driven, motivated individual, with flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, high growth environment with changing priorities
Highly developed and refined written communication skills
High level multi-tasking, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment, manage workload, meet deadlines, and have a strong attention to detail.
