The Opportunity –
Boeing Defence Australia's Aerospace Engineering & Production Capability (AEP) provides various programs people, expertise, process and tools to perform aircraft design, repair and continuing airworthiness. Forward looking, the team has developed a Capability Plan to meet our defence customers' evolving needs, both in Australia and internationally.
The various BDA programs deliver Aircraft capability upgrades and continuing airworthiness services to support Defence's Boeing-managed aircraft fleets and complex communication systems. We work hand-in-hand with our customers to develop and deliver critical capabilities to support their mission now and into the future.
We have an opportunity for a Senior Structures & Payloads Engineer to join the AEP Capability in support of the various platforms managed by BDA

We currently have vacancies in Amberley, Brisbane, Adelaide, Nowra and Williamtown.
As a Senior Structures and Payloads Engineer within BDA, you will be responsible for:
* Work as a senior member with the team, guiding and mentoring junior engineers.
* Technical Leadership in delivering minor and major capability upgrades to the various platforms from the concept stage to aircraft in service.
* Work towards gaining Engineering Authority and Delegations on the platforms you will be supporting
* Support the organisation in developing ‘people first', ‘team capability' as well as supporting process and tool developments
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
* Hold Tertiary qualifications in Aerospace Engineering that satisfies the requirements of membership of Engineers Australia.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
