As a senior member of the Projects team, you will be responsible to grow, lead and manage our Queensland team of engineers and drafters on tire 2 projects.

As the Structural Engineering Manager you will be a key member of the Projects Leadership team and have responsibility for:
You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
Business development supported by our Sales team.
Delivery of technically accurate, cost effective and optimum designs in accordance with Australian standards.
Maintaining and fostering relationships with clients.
Full responsibility to lead and manage the Queensland team of engineers and drafters.
Profit and Loss responsibility for the Queensland Structural business.
Contribute to innovative and technical improvement projects for the business at large.
Contribute to the Company Strategic Plan and implement for your department.
We are looking for someone who has the following:
Bachelor in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Registered Building Practitioner in Queensland.
CPEng status is highly desirable.
Minimum 10 years experience applying Australian Engineering standards as a Structural Engineer.
Excellent time management skills.
Proven technical capability and problem solving skills.
Experience of managing and delivering projects within timeframes and budget for tier 1-2 projects.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Self-driven, ambitious, and highly motivated.
Some management experience would be an advantage, however ongoing support and mentorship will be provided.
