Responsibilities
Play a vital role in implementing the digital and email marketing strategy: writing, building, reporting.
Coordinate social media presence and maintain the communications calendar.
Oversee the day-to-day requirements of award-winning website and associated microsites.
Assist with content creation for the blog, webinars, and conference.
Familiarise yourself with the world of contemporary Australian literature for children and young people for resource marketing and promotion.
Implement digital advertising strategies.
Contribute to the positive development of the brand.
Assist in our series of livestreamed talks with literacy experts and children’s and young adult authors/illustrators.
Support the evolution of brand identity, visual assets, and marketing automation processes.
General administrative and scheduling tasks associated with marketing and communications activity.
Monitor marketing analytics (web, eDM, socials) and provide monthly reports.
Work with the team to maintain the integrity of the contact database and member data.

Essential skills
A diploma, degree or advanced certification in Marketing or Communications is required.
1 – 2 years’ experience in a marketing and communication role, with an understanding of contemporary marketing and communication practices, especially digital and email marketing.
Experience maintaining and updating websites and web pages.
Solid knowledge of analytics and online tools, with the ability to generate, analyse and interpret data.
An understanding of email marketing software, analytics tracking, and CRM systems.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced, high-achieving environment.
Experience in website development, visual marketing or design would be well regarded.
