Functions of the role include:
Install, configure, and integrate all software, hardware, new server hardware and applications.
Fully support, configure, maintain, upgrade and manage all IT networks, network servers and technology tools according to company requirements.
Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency).
Troubleshoot issues/outages and ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
Build internal technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
Maintain professional relationships with users/suppliers and develop on site expertise to train staff on new technologies implemented across the Mort and Co network.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on IT trends and best practice.
Provide backup assistance with IT Helpdesk tickets as required and participate in an after hours/on call roster where applicable.
Requirements
Knowledge and understanding of IT principles and technologies related to: Windows and Office suite; Microsoft servers; Azure cloud offerings; networking; technical hardware; MS SQL stack.
High degree of confidentiality and ability to build strong rapport with employees across all levels of the business.
Drive for continuous improvement, innovation and the ability to design best practice system architecture, networks, and hardware.
Team player with high level communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to develop and utilise systematic documentation processes.
Reliable, conscientious, and motivated and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Eager to learn and grow knowledge base and skills.
