Key Responsibilities:
Providing support onsite, remotely, and on the phone to various levels of stakeholders
Manage, monitor, and update support tickets
Resolving Level 1 and Level 2 issues, and escalating when required
Maintenance and installation of various hardware and software
Setup and support of Windows, Apple, and Android devices including desktops, laptops, and mobiles.
Participation in weekend and occasional “out of hours” support tasks
Preparing and operating sound equipment including but not limited to:-
Setting up and breaking down audio equipment;
Running audio equipment and checking that everything is properly connected;
Testing audio equipment for volume, tone, and clarity;
Operating mixing consoles and adjusting sounds and volumes when necessary.
All other reasonable duties are assigned by the IT Manager or leadership of the College.

Experience with Standard Operating Environments and software deployment
An understanding of, and experience with software such as Active Directory, Hyper-V, Group Policy, Windows Server, Windows 10, OS X, iOS, Android
Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office, Office 365, Active Directory, local user accounts
Experience with MDM’s preferably for both Windows and iOS
An understanding of networking including Switches, LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPN’s, Firewalls, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, Radius etc
Preferred Skills
2 years of previous helpdesk experience
Documentation creation and updating skills
Experience with virtualisation
Microsoft Certification or relevant experience
Understanding of ITIL
Experience with sound equipment such as mixers, amps, mic’s etc
Experience with media equipment such as lights, video switchers, projectors etc
Website hosting experience with an understanding of domain records, SSL, etc
