We're looking for an experience Systems Administrator to join Network Gaming’s Technology Team.
based in our comfortable offices adjacent to the water in Sandy Bay, Hobart, and reporting into the IT Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and administering Electronic and Table Gaming systems and other operational support systems, ensuring the ongoing functionality, reliability, integrity of data and timely access to information for managers and employees. This includes supporting the hardware, software, and ancillary components relevant to each system to minimise or eliminate any system downtime.

As the Systems Administrator your activities will include, but are not limited, to the following:
Provide monitoring, maintenance, administration, upgrades, backup and restores to gaming systems as well as a range of system administration duties
Resolve impending issues prior to outages occurring
Maintain technical documentation, undertake reporting, configuration items, test, user acceptance and production environments relating to relevant gaming systems
Share knowledge and educate others in the use of gaming systems
Maintain and continuously improve gaming systems and associated processes
Ensure gaming systems comply with policies and procedures to mitigate any risk of regulatory beach
Provide input into operational planning and budgeting with respect to relevant systems
Build effective working relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
Undertake non-routine or ad hoc project and systems-based duties
About you:
You are a skilled and collaborative Systems Administrator. You enjoy taking responsibility for internal system support and identifying opportunities for improvement.
You will have:
Bachelor’s degree, professional qualification or equivalent demonstrated practical experience
5 years of relevant work experience, including systems administration
Experience with operating systems and servers Windows
Experience in troubleshooting and supporting hardware, network and software systems
Experience with database systems, SQL server
Experience with IT Service Management
Ability to obtain and maintain a Tasmania Gaming Commission Technician License.
High level gaming systems knowledge desirable
Demonstrated ability to develop processes and procedures and quality assurance measures including testing
