Our client is a boutique bookkeeping company offering personalized service to clients. Due to the expansion of the business, we have created an exciting new role for a Junior Administration Officer. This role will be a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and learn bookkeeping and office admin work
There will be on-the-job training plus support for future professional development such as Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.
The successful candidates will need:
Basic MS Office skills required
Positive can-do attitude, where you are willing to help where needed
Self-motivated and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Good organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to multi-tasking
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Any experience with Xero, MYOB, payment gateways, CRM's is an advantage
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
General office duties including filing, stationery, mail, calls, and general office management
Assist in and processing of monthly accounts including accounts payable/receivable
You will learn how to assist with Payroll processing, invoicing, accrual, reconciliation of accounts, and preparing BAS
Liaise with clients via phone and office visits on occasions
The current role will be 30 hours per week with the potential to move to full-time.
Work hours and days are flexible for the right candidate. A driver's license is required as may be required to visit clients at their office occasionally. Located at our office in our near Coomera Queensland. This is not a remote position.
