As our IT Manager you will work closely with the internal management team, external vendors and contractors to deliver contemporary ‘end-to-end’ IT solutions and support to the organisation.
Key functions of the role include:
1st and 2nd level end user support via a helpdesk ticketing system
Monitoring and maintaining networks, servers, and business critical software
Planning, upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software
Implementing security protocols and procedures to mitigate cyber risk
Hardware procurement and lifecycle management
Management of backups including disaster recovery planning and testing
Creating new user accounts, performing access control and on boarding new users
Website maintenance via a content management system
What experience are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in a similar role in a small to medium sized professional services environment.
To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate experience with the following software and systems:
VMWare ESX platforms
Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
VEEAM Backup and Recovery
Office 365/Azure AD
VOIP Communications
Additionally, experience administering a legal practice management software system (e.g. LEAP/FilePro/Practice Evolve/Aderant) and a dictation/transcription system (Olympus/Phillips/Bighand/Dragon) would be advantageous.
This position is a hands on, technical role involving some physical work. Occasional afterhours work and travel to Launceston may also be required.
