This is a challenging and exciting full-time position to work with our Construction Team to become a qualified Site Manager. The successful candidate will be required to oversee sites in Sydney's Inner West. Reporting to the Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include: Training to manage the overall site performance of our home construction process; Training to maximize the site production by ensuring sub-contract trade availability; Keeping up to date with building practices and procedures; Ensuring compliance with and delivery of established cost management and project management practices; Partnering up with your assigned Site Manager buddy and learning about the role; Complete training assessments which will be undertaken during the relevant training with each department; and Fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork are paramount. The successful candidate will have: Completion of relevant tertiary education e.g. Building/Construction Diploma or of trade/building background; Experience in the building industry (preferable in the volume of the new home environment); Customer Service experience; An understanding of building regulations; Knowledge of project management systems; Previous experience working with and implementing quality assurance systems to Australian standards; and Some experience in developing and managing organizational and external networks, particularly with trades, would be highly regarded.
