The Role / Benefits
The company is seeking a Junior Detailer for a Full-Time role in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs. The focus of this role is to provide support to the detailing team whilst gaining knowledge and experience in order to progress into a Senior Detailing position.
This role would suit recent graduates of detailing, design, architecture or drafting. Similarly, this role may also suit someone who has initiated a draftsperson / design traineeship elsewhere but is looking to move into detailing work.
This is an exciting opportunity with a leading manufacturer and supplier of commercial timber doors to the residential and commercial construction sectors. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
The role will include (but not be limited to):
Perform administrative tasks and assist the detailing team in preparing final documents.
Finalise and prepare documents for manufacture.
Liaising with clients, maintaining and establishing relationships.
Assist and willing to learn how to conduct site measures.
Assist and provide support to the detailing team as required. Learning and adapting to the company processes
Demonstrate your ability and willingness to practically contribute to projects as part of the team when required, as well as working on individual projects.
Skills/experience required to be successful:
This position would suit someone who has detailing experience and looking to progress their career.
Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new tasks and processes.
University or TAFE training in residential drafting, design, architecture, or detailing is a bonus.
An eagerness to get your foot in the door with a growing company to gain experience within a supportive team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to work in a high-performance environment.
