As the Developer Programmer at our company, you will be responsible and required to interpret specifications, technical designs and flow charts within the business. This position will require construction of our app and systems to make us complaint for our ISO certification and general operating system, along with building, and maintaining our software applications by constructing technical specifications on a full time basis. This is a hand-on position. To be successful in this role you will:
• Consulting, analysing and evaluating system program needs for internal systems and the development of our app
• Construct, install and adjust and provide necessary support to the computer systems , server and web server
• Evaluate the database systems within the business and be able to write technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
• Providing expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation of the business • Recommending software purchases and upgrades to keep up with the demand of the business
• Ensure the compatibility of the website with various website browsers to be accessible for all potential clients
• Able to describe testing procedures, deployment and maintenance with reference to contemporary IT standards and frameworks.
• Management of settings of site navigation
• Oversee the computer systems, server and website functionality and performance
• Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods
• Critically review modern data mining methods and tools
• Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification Requirements:
• You must hold a bachelor degree or higher qualification with 2 years post qualification experience to be considered for the role. Or, at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
