About the role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will assist in managing Defence projects and support a team of construction professionals to ensure all project objectives are met and completed to a high standard. You will be motivated, qualified and have the capacity to develop into higher roles in the project space.

Your impact
Deliver high-quality service in consideration of time and cost constraints;
Coordinate project communications with internal and external stakeholders, and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure a high level of collaboration;
Prepare accurate project documentation including, but not limited to, meeting minutes, monthly reports, letters, emails and other deliverables within deadlines;
Assist in the management of project finances, including but not limited to financial forecasting, monitoring forecast against budget, financial reporting and client invoicing;
Capture and progress project actions (including requests for information) to ensure timely delivery of outcomes by the project team;
Participate consultatively in project and process audits; and
Assist in selected future bids, proposals, business development and conversion activities.

You will also have
Australian citizenship and holding, or be able to successfully obtain, and retain a minimum Australian Government baseline Security Clearance (mandatory);
Professional qualifications in project management, architectural, engineering, construction management or similar are desirable. Candidates with experience in Computer Science, Integrated Logistics, or Systems and Software engineers will also be considered;
Demonstrated recent construction project experience with either client-side, contractor or designer (desirable);
A clear understanding of project management fundamentals as found in the Project Management Body of Knowledge;
AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent (desirable);
Intermediate skill level using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook is required, with MS Project being desirable;
Excellent time and task management skills, and able to manage and support multiple projects in a timely and efficient manner; and
Financial management, budgeting and forecasting skills, and familiarity with project scheduling, monitoring and reporting (desirable).
