Administrative Officer role – Clerk Grade 3/4 Full-time hours, temporary until 30 June 2023 with opportunity for extension and/or conversion to ongoing/permanent after the initial 12 months Salary commencing from $74,117 pa, plus 10% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading Location: Parramatta CBD with hybrid working arrangements The Department of Planning and Environment is now recruiting for an Administrative Officer to join the NSW Planning Group division in a full-time capacity. This Award winning team is based in Parramatta, right next to the train station, in a brand-new state of the art, corporate building with hybrid working arrangements in place. About You In this role, you will provide professional administrative support to the Planning Group’s division and operational teams, ensuring the smooth running of the business operations. Tasks may include purchase order creation, organising travel and accommodation/car hire, management of administration inbox, advertising and mail merges using excel, accounts receivable/payable and general administration duties. This role is a support function to administrative tasks including on/offboarding, finance and general admin. To be successful in the role, ideally you will have: Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a large complex organisation Strong organisational skills and highly advanced attention to detail. Strong report writing skills, communication skills and the ability to strengthen engagement with key stakeholders both internal and external. Intermediate computer literacy skills including data management skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook Experience of using a facilities-based system, preferably SAP Excellent written & verbal communication skills with high attention to detail Financial awareness For more information read the full Role Description: Administrative Officer
