Sydney Nursery Recruitment | Full-time ECT Early Years Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement learning plans for young children in accordance with the EYLF and the centre’s educational philosophy;
- Observe, document and assess children’s learning and development;
- Design educational activities based on the children’s age, interests and stage of development;
- Create a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment;
- Build positive relationships with the children to support their social, emotional, language and cognitive development;
- Maintain good communication with parents, providing timely feedback on the children’s learning and development;
- Work closely with Educators, the Room Leader and the Centre Director;
- Assist with learning documentation, programming and related records;
Job Requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or recognised qualification in Early Childhood Teaching;
- Meet the relevant ECT qualification requirements in Australia;
- Hold, or be able to apply for, a NSW Working With Children Check;
- Prior experience working in a nursery, childcare centre or early learning centre is preferred;
- Be familiar with the EYLF, NQS and relevant Australian early childhood education standards;
