Vacancy | Tax Accountant Intern Location: Melbourne (Victoria) Main Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing income tax returns for individual and corporate clients - Assist in organising and reconciling clients’ financial and tax records - Assist in preparing BAS, IAS and other relevant tax documents - Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and account verification - Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks - Enter, organise and maintain clients’ financial data using accounting software Job Requirements: - Current students or recent graduates in Accounting, Finance or a related field - A keen interest in Australian tax, accounting and the public practice sector - Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail - Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Excel and Word - Familiarity with MYOB accounting software would be an advantage
