We are seeking a highly motivated construction estimator for our commercial and residential tiling projects. The applicant MUST have a strong focus on customer service and communication, excellent eye for detail and enjoy a team environment. As the Estimator your responsibilities will include: Quantity take-offs Providing fixed quotations Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural drawings Overseeing key elements of a fast paced residential and commercial projects including additions/alterations/renovations. Ensuring key milestones are being achieved within a set time-frame. Managing all necessary WHS/SMP/Risk Assessments Reporting to the company management and managing multiple building sites at any one time. Negotiating and managing the efficient supply (particularly the quality, cost and scheduling) of labour and materials. Review and liaise with contractors and building management. Coordinate purchases with suppliers from ordering materials to pick-up and delivery to site Maintaining relationship with current builders and establishing new relationships with prospective clients/builders The successful candidate will have: Minimum 2 years’ experience within Construction industry Have estimating experience Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage time, problem solving & meet deadlines. Be easy going with a positive attitude. A clear, confident communicator, who can work well under pressure. Excellent customer service and be well presented. Current Driver Licence White Card Be physically fit to fulfil the requirements of the role. Be a self-starter with a proven track record in successfully delivering projects
